Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a common chronic disorder characterized by persistent anxiety that is not focused on any particular object or situation. Anxiety conditions include excessive worry, mental and muscular tension (especially jaw, neck and shoulders) and nervousness. Generalized anxiety disorder is the most common anxiety disorder in elders.
